Why we make wax melts

We wanted a format that let scent live in more places, without asking anyone to compromise on quality to get there.

Every wax melt we pour draws from the same wax blend that anchors our candles, a considered marriage of soy and beeswax, generously scented. This is not incidental. Soy carries fragrance cleanly and burns true to scent, while the touch of beeswax adds body and a faint honeyed warmth beneath whatever perfume we have layered on top.

At melt strength, this blend does something quietly remarkable. Without a flame to contend with, the fragrance has nothing to compete against. It simply rises, evenly, for hours longer than most melts on the market attempt. This is the same alchemy as our candles, only slower, and arguably more honest, because there is nowhere for a poorly made wax to hide.

We have always believed that the ritual objects in a home deserve to look like they belong there. Our melts are shaped and finished with the same restraint as the rest of the collection, nothing loud, nothing disposable in spirit even though the wax itself will eventually give way to something new.
